James Gilbert & Son are the oldest and one of the largest manufacturers of decorative grilles and mesh panels in Great Britain. We offer a wide range of hand made decorative regency grilles, perforated grilles and hand woven grilles at the most competitive prices. We still manufacture from our original premises in West London and can also offer CNC wire forming, laser cutting services, security grilles, and engineering facilities. We can create or reproduce any historic decorative grille from the renaissance period until today.

Our decorative grilles, interwoven grilles and screens, mesh panels and mesh grilles are dispatched all over the world for use as radiator grilles, air conditioning grilles, speaker covers, floor grilles, library grilles and wire panels in bespoke and historic furniture. All decorative grilles can be treated to look as old or modern as you require.

As well as our experience in decorative grilles, we are also heavily into interior metalwork and architectural metalwork. Both areas of metalwork have been recent growth areas.

Architectural Metalwork 

We can design as well as manufacture and install  your architectural metalwork from handrails, balustrades, staircases, spiral staircases, gates through to other bespoke architectural metalwork.
