We manufacture a wide range of decorative floor grilles in a variety of metals and finishes such as brass, antique brass, bronze, stainless steel, nickel and chrome plated finishes. We have an existing range of forty standard patterns, which we adapt to suit the bespoke size and shape you require. Many of these patterns match our air vent range so that air vents and grilles can be ordered to match, but we also have many patterns exclusive to our floor grille range to meet the more exacting demands of this grill location.

Where bespoke patterns are specified for floor grilles or vents, drawings can be provided for approval upon placing of the order and prior to manufacturing the metal floor grilles.
Clients often have a specific open area needed for the grilles to suit their HVAC air flow requirements. We can advise on the open area percentages of our grille patterns, make recommendations of the most suitable patterns for a particular situation and in most cases adapt the proportions of many of our patterns to help meet your needs.
But it is not only the pattern that makes our grilles the perfect fit for your needs. Our modern manufacturing techniques offer the perfect balance of functioning grille, with optimum airflow, beautiful metalwork and strength to cope with many years of use in your home or venue. The thickness of our floor grilles is also adapted to suit both the overall size of the grilles and the nature of the trench or rebate that they will be fitted into.
Each pattern can be made in any finish and even aged to best suit the new or existing decorative scheme. We have worked with numerous interior designers, developers and specifiers to this end and our grilles are installed in all sizes of residence throughout the United Kingdom and abroad. Similarly, to our vent grilles, some metals and finishes are more suitable in some situations than others. Modern buildings often suit our satin nickel and stainless steel grilles, whilst interiors of older styles are often matched with our range of antiqued brass and bronze finishes. Although the more decorative brass and bronze and their patinated versions are also being used increasingly in modern developments as well. In historic situations and those of significant provenance our aim is often to bear the natural wear of a finish in mind and create a finish and appeal that will develop with time exactly as it would have if it had been there for hundreds of years. But the choice is yours, and we can manufacture to match all design needs.
In many cases matching frames are deemed appropriate, providing the perfect level surface into which the grilles sit as well as providing a defining outline for them to sit inside, all perfectly flush with your floor level. Our sales office staff will be able to advise on the use and suitability of frames for your needs. Where the edges of a floor aperture or trench are imperfect, we can also provide frames that cover the uneven edges of the floor surface to remove these imperfections.
Other factors unique to the underfoot nature of floor grilles, such as whether they will be placed in high or low traffic areas, can also play a part in design choices. In some cases, such as high traffic venues, there is a requirement for floor grilles to have a heel proof quality. This can be achieved in a number of ways. Whilst it often provides a contradiction with the open area requirements and reduces the number of patterns practicable in such situations, we do have solutions specifically for these situations.
Although our floor grilles are primarily based on rectangular holes and runs, most usually encountered with trench heaters and utility access points, we can also work with you to achieve more bespoke arrangements such as corner and angled grilles. We have worked on projects to supply curved and circular grilles and can design grilles to include cut outs to clear pipework or other obstructions.
